Set off on Friday lunch time, returned on Sunday evening..What a place!
Biking mecca, roads immaculate and great food. Two nights B&B at "Killin" near Crianlarich and toured: Oban - Fort William - Inverness - Loch Ness - Inverary and a few others I forget? Not much oppurtunity to take pic's as always on the move. 998 miles and my ten year old "Bird" never missed a beat, fantastic and I'm still buzzin :neenaw:

Not been too far north but stayed at Cameron House on Loch Lomond fantastic place and even better if you land a deal when there on but the roads are gob smackingly great the views do take your breath away at times and when you stop its embarrasing to speak because of the silence.

recommended roads
A82 run up the side of Loch Lomond - small sea planes take off up around Luss and Culag
A83 heading to Inveraray
A819 & A85 to Oban
(Would like to check out the B840 running alongside Loch Fyne is anyone has been down it)
Retrace from Oban along the A85 then turn left on A828 to Glencoe
Then A82 back down to Cameron House

The route round the Trossach's Trail is great and twisty as well

Was last up there in Janauary this year although it was in the car as it was heavy snow at the time but as usual hardly any traffic cops as scarce as rocking horse droppings and roads clear and well looked afetr even with the snow covering everything else around. cant wait to head up there for a couple of days with the lad.

The new

Hi Karl

I thought this would be more "apt" than just emailing you!

Prepare for a touring holiday this summer.

BMW K1200s? PANTS

Kwack ZZR1400 totally useless for touring under a steady 120mph.

So guess what? Correct I have got another Bird!

Pete
