Saturday night in Abergavenny

sitting in a pretty crappy pub having an overpriced and decidedly average meal minding our own business...confrontation between two gents old enough to know better broken up by a barmaid before punches thrown.

Later in the evening guests are ejected from a wedding reception by the staff, no idea why but they were certainly the worse for wear.

Lovely time had by all.

They couldn't even cook what was probably a nice piece of lamb properly - unforgivable in Wales!

Nice roast solariac in fairness.

And the Moretti lager was very nice, close to a bitter, never had that before.

Solariac is horrible though. No idea where that came from!!

Any fool knows it is 'cel' as in 'celery.
