The Duster has gone, not one to get attached to cars but I am going to miss her, lovely comfy drive, plenty of extras, good mpg, oh well, can’t dwell on the past, got to say I am really impressed with we buy any car, actually got thirty quid more than originally quoted, money in the account within 15 minutes.

Five minutes ago you were saying you never got attached to cars, it was a means of getting about, etc.

it very unsettling, we need the truth.

Interestingly whilst we were at we buy any car a young lad turned up in a blue 65 plate BMW, he’d had it a week & didn’t like it, I told him I didn’t like BMW’s, Bev jumped in with “you’ve never had one so how do you know” I replied “you don’t like black pudding or haggis but you’ve never had them” that stumped her.

My ‘full English’ this morning lacked black pudding but included tinned tomatoes.

Not happy.

I sometimes get fed up with beans on my full English & enjoy tinned tomatoes instead, if I was served tinned tomatoes in a cafe though I would complain.

Tinned tomatoes are what you use for making proper food, not a food in itself.

Shouid never, ever be seen on a plate..

Try them on toast sprinkled with a small amount of oregano & some cayenne pepper then add a bit of Henderson’s relish (Worcestershire sauce if you’re a heathen)

Minkey could be correct, sometimes tinned or frozen produce is better than fresh. When these foods are tinned or frozen, they’re usually done so either at or close to source and when they’re still fresh. What the shops sell as fresh might have been sat in the back of a truck for three weeks.

I love tomatoes, me.

Tinned tomatoes are blanched & skin removed then cooled before canning.
What, so they pick the cans from the tree, take the tomatoes out, blanch & skin them and then cool them before putting them back in the can?

Tinned toamatoes are an ingredient, not an item to be put on the plate.

Ever.

Fact.
