I see on the news that the individual who filmed the incident with the white guy abusing the black elderly, disabled lady and her daughter, was complaining that no-one stepped in to help.

Funny that...as it was well reported that a young white lad stepped in to try and calm things down.
Meanwhile the black gentleman who filmed it was quoted as saying that he felt like it was watching his grandma being abused.
And yet his first reaction was not to help or defend her....but to reach for his phone.

Call me cynical, but I can't help wondering if he would have been so intent on filming it if it had been a white lady being abused by a black guy....

Clueless in most things
Agree, the film shown clearly had a chap leaning over and saying that isn't acceptable and multiple times and it wasn't the chap filming it.

What worries me more however, the papers have tracked the 70 man who was abusive and published the area he lives in in Birmingham and that it is in a retirement building complex. For me this has worrying fears for it seeming to provoke vigilantes, going around a vulnerable retirement complex looking for this chap. I do feel some are that stupid.

In the same vein, but slightly off track, the elderly couple who died whilst travelling the weong way up the M40 a week or so ago, came from High Wycombe, less than 10 miles from where the crash occured.

The local paper has said something along the lines of "Mr and Mrs XXXXX aged 80 something came from such and such a house located in such and such a street in High Wycombe. Their pretty house overlooked XXXXXX"

Would not take much brain power to find out where they lived.

In other words, this couple are now dead, their house is unoccupied, feel free to ransack the place lads.

It would be interesting to see if the paper could be found guilty for aid and abet in the event that the place is burgled.

The press don't seem to have one responsible brain cell between them these days.

You have to understand that everything the media says is 'in the public interest'.

The alternative would be that the red tops are a bunch of gutter-life who look for sensationalist stories and if they can't find them they make them up. Which couldn't possibly be the case.

It's funny how the press seem to continually complain about restrictions in their so called "freedoms" yet as Noobie and T.C. both point out, they routinely get away with "incentivising" the less desireable elements in society to act....and they do it without fear of prosecution.
I'm all for an independent press, which is able to freely report on issues that ARE in the public interest, but publishing addresses and personal details is not on....regardless of the reasons. The last time I checked, the police were the only people invested with the powers of crime investigation and the courts were likewise for the prosecution and sentencing of the guilty.

I wonder how newspaper journalists would feel if all of their personal details were put into the public domain, to then find the innocent, angry victims of their inept, provocative and sometimes downright criminal reporting camped outside of their houses.

Spitting Image had the press well and truly summed up in portraying them as bunch of pigs. In my view, it would have been better if it was a bunch of pigs playing with their cocks. Wankers and absolute scum, who are nothing more than spunk stains on the sheets of the insect world. All of them.

An old case of mine that made headline news back in 2010/2011 has recently come back to life. I attended Crown Court a few times in 2011 and 2012 as expert witness for the Crown and the bad guys are attempting to appeal yet again on the basis of 'new evidence'. I can't go into detail here for obvious reasons but one of the Sunday rags has been running a campaign to get them freed. I don't read about it anymore because I'm sick to the back teeth of reading bullshit along the lines of 'Prosecution expert, Mr. P. Lo said..........' and every single time, without exception, it's been absolute bollocks. I cannot tell you how many times I've come close to picking the phone up to give these pond life a mouthful for repeatedly misquoting me and printing downright lies. Motherfuckers.

Can't have been that bad if yer man who was filming didn't step in.

I don't give a shit about your race, creed, colour, religion, sexual preference or political orientation - if you're of the male gender and you're prepared to sit back and watch a disabled woman and daughter get abused, then you're not a man. Twat who was filming needs to take a good, long, hard look at himself.

Beaker didn’t wear glasses, Professor Bunsen honeydew did.
I stand corrected.

IMG_1434.JPG

Further research shows other Muppet characters who wear glasses so I am really confused now.

For instance I have no idea who the lady wearing glasses is in this picture.

IMG_1435.JPG

There is also evidence that at least one member of The Muppet Band wore glasses, but it is not clear if they are just 'rock star shades' or vision enhancers.

The same for members of the other Muppet Band, Geri and the Atrics.
