Well who the hell does this hack work for ?

Valentino Rossi made the most of the absence of Sete Gibernau to post the fastest lap

Not paid by Honda at all is he .. Fookin Tosspot..

Going on all past years that Rossi has been around he never ever gives 100% at these things.. proly closer to 80% truth be told..

Same goes for pole sitting. Whilst he will generally be in the top 4 or 5 he is simply not worried about pole..

A ( rough ) quote from last year ( I think ) ..
It is not where I am atthe beinging of the race that matters. It matters where I am at the end of the race

I think the guy is so far into another league he just does not give a flying fig about all this testing and pole position malarky..

He simply gets on the track, does the biz, and leaves.. No prretence, no show, just total and complete ability.

good looking AND modest
dont they get a "bonus" from their sponsers if they acheve pole position like wot the "roundy roundy" drivers in formula boring get?? :dunno:

Probably do Ian... but as a certain German F1 driver said, who needs yet another Tag Heur when you have a cupboard full of them ?

Lets face it.. Dr Rossi ( all hail, god among mortals ) is not short of a bob or two so proly just give give a bugger !

Rossi is a born racer,,,,,, IMHO,, I think him & Edwards will make a great team,,,,,,, as for mullet faced Giblets,,,,, don't think he is consistant enough & thats the name of the game, consistancy.

BTW I think BMW were giving away M7's or 8's when Rossi was with Honda for setting Pole,, I think his garage might be a tad full

Also keep an eye out for our local man Chaz Davies who was riding a 99 Aprillia last year & had two top 10 finishes,, only 17,, He turned down a top ride in SB to stay in the GP,, I hope he does well this year, top peeps will be watching & he might,,just might get a full spec factory bike next year if he does well.
