Bet it looks and sounds gorgeous. I want to see LOTS of pics please! I fancy doing my redbirds wheels like yours (and frenchuk's). Did you have them done or can you say it was simply a paint job after a 321 strip/polish?

The wheels were..

.. Sprayed at Prestige Mototrcycle Paintwork in Swindon, by Keith.

Seb at 321 polished them first, just the outer rim sections, and then we shipped 'em across town for the paint...

Lovely, what sort of cost roughly? Is the polished area lacquered or do you wear the candy a bit each time you polish the ally?

I hope you get the camera out next time the sun shines, if the bike is one piece that is.

Good luck.

Cost ...

... for the two wheels was ?150 + the dreaded. That's the hubs centers, spokes and the center section of the rim, up to the edge where the contour of the rim changes.

No Bruce, the ally's not laquered so I just have to take a bit of care. I'm using Belgom Alu for all the polished alloy. It's brilliant stuff (no pun intended) and non abrasive so it doesn't give the edge of the paint a bad time.

Belgom Alu, from France. M & P part No 503965 ?8.99 + postage.

Should finish to-nite... Pic's t'marra..! Weather permitting.

Well I think my red bird looks lovely and it's almost standard, yours would probably make me dribble!
I'm excited about the pics already, and I'm not drunk, or sad!!!

Everything torqued up... bodywork back on... number plate bolts needed in the morn and a good clean...

... I think I could be finished..
