A female rider was killed yesterday on the A162 Sherburn/Tadcaster road, it appears that she hit the kerb and her bike left the road

I don't know if this is the same one, but a lady from not 100yds from our house was killed yesterday on fresh bike she'd only got 2 days ago.
She was a single mum with 2 teenage sons, one of which is a mate of our eldest kid. At 7 pm last night her youngest son had still not returned home, I rang our Ash only to find out they were out together and her son was totally unaware of what had happened. It was an unbelievably difficult situation to deal with.
Our thoughts go out to her 2 sons and family.
