Lol, the difference being the capital B, speaking of Battle specifically Battle abbey my Mrs borrowed a book from their library back in the early 70s to do her dissertation for the degree course she was engaged in which involved Williams involvement in the monasteries and forgot to hand it back.
we finally rocked up there in 2015 and Lyn sheepishly presented the book expecting a massive fine but was greeted with a “Oh don’t you worry about that my dear the library was closed decades ago we don’t know what happened to the books so you might as well hang on to it”, a big sigh of relief followed, she’d been worrying herself all the way up there silly sod (y)
