Hope the Bash went as well as the rally in Belgium we went to. It was their 25th rally so our club made a bit of an effort. In fact we took the top three awards, highest total mileage by one club, most members attending from one club (39) and best attendance over the whole 25 years.
Following this there was an excellent band and a moderate intake of :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: (yeah, right) and a general collapsing into the nearest tent in the wee small hours. Weather was glorious, until this morning, when it rained on & off, but who cares, when you've had a great weeked and you're going home.
The only downside was the clash of dates and having to miss the Bash. It was a close-run thing there, but in the end, we couldn't let the club down, could we? Besides, they're all bigger than we are. The president reckons that Hunter has to go to the overseas rallies so that they can play 'Toss the Midget' (as in 'Toss the Caber', before you get the wrong idea!).
Let's have plenty more Bash photos please, so that we can appreciate what we missed :xm.
