I'm supporting Ireland, which is going down well with the wife. :D

Going to be a tough game. I’d normally watch it but Mrs Poo and me are unpacking.

Must admit, I’m not a fan of the Irish team, I don’t like their style. They’re very streetwise and get away with a lot of off the ball stuff (not necessarily dirty) that most others don’t. My views don’t go down well here with Mrs P being Irish.

I thought Ireland would do it, on past performance, and I figured them as being the best team to catch the Frogs.

I watched most of the first half on the phone, at lunch, in a Dartmoor cafe. Then listened to the second half on the drive home, and then the last 15 minutes I watched in the kitchen. Terrific result after a disappointing start to the series. :aaaaa:

allez les bleus - I am so pleased for them that a. they beat the Welsh and b. they’re on target for a Grand Slam.

it’s a shame the Italians once again aren’t really showing too well against the other 5, it’s time they stopped concentrating on kicking a round ball around at home and developed some better players. Mind you the same could be said for scotland :risas3:

"Allez les bleus"...? F*ck the French. I couldn't give a flying whatsit whether they play faultless rugby or look like a bunch of drunk women leaving the bingo. History counts more for me and I hate the French with every fibre of my body.

Other than that...it looks like they'll do it this tournament. :D

Hardly...
Laboured and painful to watch. As per usual, as soon as we get within 5 yards of the line a collective failure in directional sense descends....

That's like saying Rossi rides a little bit faster than you :p the jocks were falling over their skirts against the lowest rated side in the competition & just managed to squeeze a win, partly through the use of nefarious tactics

What "nefarious" tactics...? It's rugby....there are no rules as long as you get away with it. :eusa_whistle:

The only rule is there was cheating if Ireland didn't win.
Can't blame us for that one. We were out of the country at the time, picking up a dose of the coronavirus. :D
