From what I've seen it's just a kid running round in his mother's clothes causing damage while his mum and sister ignore him and it's telling you that John Lewis home insurance covers this scenario. If you read anything else into it then you really need to give your head a shake and try to decide if you're one of those people that goes looking for offence in everything that you see, read and hear.

The word "you" refers to people in general and not a particular individual.

For me it promotes and re-enforces some the things we were saying were wrong on the cancel culture thread ... us "adults" know its just another stupid add but how will a kid of a similar age see it ????? permission?

Very LGBTQ in its appearance for no apparent reason other than to jump on the bandwagon, the kid appears to know damn well he's not going to be told off and has the right to do just as he damn well pleases, nothing wholesome or good about it in my view.... not what I would have expected from John Lewis

Apart from that its forever ruined a damn good song :mad:
