Tell me how the first post 'incited' some of the following posts that just launched into anti Muslim tirade? I admire the concept of Ramadan. And stand by that view. Please don't make me responsible for the postings of others. If you want to hear a regret from me it is that when the post was hijacked in such a manner I wished I hadn't started the thread and if I remember correctly said as much.
Of course I don't make you responsible for what other people post. However, you've been a member here a long time; you know full well that any mention of certain topics is going to provoke a reaction, usually unfavourable.
So do you want some topics no go zones?
Personally I wouldn't want to go there, despite disagreeing very strongly with some. Of the views expressed in this thread for instance.
On a lighter note, Russfaefyvie posted a post that I would have thought would interest Bird owners and motorcyclists in general a day or two bAck and got next to no response. The irony is noteworthy.:dunno:
Nah, we'd end up not being able to talk about anything. Thing is though, some topics will always generate more heated response than others. Start a thread on how awesome Sir Alex Ferguson was as a manager and see how long it takes Dezza to start hurling (bitter and twisted) abuse. See what I mean? :-0)
