ok cx it is.

WTD, advertising for some feckin drivers who know how to work a tacho right would be a start, but they would also need to know how to fill in a daily report.

we have got a VOSA inspection on wednesday, should be a lot of fun :bang:

yeh.....go Foxcub.....VOSA will be fine as long as you can prove you`ve tried to make things work.....(records of actions and like).....if you need any help ( not that i`m an expert) give me a PM, i`ll try and point ya in the right direction.. R#?

VOSA Experts ????? ROFL

Even Vosa admit they dont know how this thing will work...Different companiwes have different rules for POA etc...Some folks I know are even leaving the tacho on permanent "break", thus all time apart from driving is not classed as work(dont think that will get through though...LOL)

I shouldnt lose any sleep over it Wolfie...If I remember rightly, VOSA have said that no prosecutions will come through in the first 12 months... All they will do is try to point you in the right direction (like Chunkey really...LOL)

Best of luck mate,

Rolfy

your not wrong Rolfy,
we use Tru-Trac to analise the tachos, and they`re using one method of recording POA v`s breaks, whilst Wincanton / VOSA are suggesting another :dunno:
It`ll all come out in the wash, it usually take a couple of court cases to set precedence etc......

aint worried, aint my name on the block.

i have done all i can, if th4e drivers cant do what they are susposed to then they should be made t carry the can.

each driver has signed to saythat they understand the tacho rules and WTD yet they still keep feckin it up.

VOSA also want to inspect at least of the lorries, that is gonna be the fun bit as 3 of them the boss has to decide to scrap or spend loads on repairs, the newest one is 6 months but the driver is a tosser and has no feckin idea on what to do to look after it is just more interested in buying neons and spotlights etc etc.

hehehe i shall piss myself inside when the shit hits the fan.
