Don't waste your breath posting that it's not necessary - I did some time ago and just got a load of abuse back.I was whiling away my lunch break looking at a vid on YouTube when this one popped up.
It's about changing the cam chain on a bird. I thought I'd give it a look to see how he did it. Now I'm far from being a competent mechanic so can't comment on his work, I'll let others that know what they're on about do that. However, I think even with my very limited knowledge he's lost the plot if he thinks the cam chain needs replacing after 24K miles. Yes that's right, 24K.
That's what I thought and he's supposed to be a professional. I could understand it if he was doing it just to provide an instructional video but he kept saying it wasn't one.

Correction, I must apologise. - it was a similar video by an 'expert mechanic' in America where I suggested replacing the cam chain being replaced wasn't necessary on a Bird and got a load of abuse from the originator in return.Don't waste your breath posting that it's not necessary - I did some time ago and just got a load of abuse back.
