i still cannot believe that ben is no longer with us.had the pleasure of meeting ben on a few occasions,and once met,never forgotten.in particular,in december 2007..at a crimbo get together at lumpy's place...we all went over the local pub/hotel for food and drinkies,plus a few games of pool...and the odd "obsenity"started leaving our mouths(me and ben that is),so the staff quickly put up a no swearing sign,to which i am reliably informed is still there to this day.he was a true diamond geezer,and will be missed by all that knew him,and particularly those closest to him.

my deepest sympathies to his wife and two daughters.

RIP ben...ride free.

I'm in shock just reading the the news, we had the pleasure of meeting Ben at our first Bash, along with Orms & Wolfie with the non-stop Dungtrumpet theme had us all in tears, then to see him come from his tent next morning offering cold pizza in a cup, sorry sick in a cup to anyone that wanted it.
Who could forget Ben going through the crash of his Bird & dragging his arse along the ground & describing it like a dog with a bad case of worms.

I am sitting with a very large tear in my eye & a heavy heart Ben was one of kind.
