Aaaah...

I see he feckin shit stabbers go for the bait again....

I said to the others last night, that we didnt need to put a "plop" sign at the bottom...

Well, we had a ovely 175 mile ride around The Forest of Dean, then up to Abbbbergavenny bus station to see how many fat OAP sportsbike riders were there...

Funnily enough, not too many (just a couple hangin their flamin blubber all over the tanks...:puke:)

Dont know why, but as soon as I saw them, I thought of you pair...

Back through the forest for a nice pic a nic, then back home for an ice cream :lick:

Great day, with good friends

Cheers,

Rolfy

HE LIVE'S

What an afternoon.

Got all the alternator assembly together and fitted.

From this

Drained off what was left of the oil (thank goodness for tilt sensors), new filter and fresh new oil.

Fitted new battery, ignition on, press button. Oscar fired and ran first go.

Not bad for an engine that has been stood for at least 18 months. Proper:bow:

Replaced the damaged indicators and re-fitted the fairing.

Sat on his paddock stand happily purring away.

All thats left to do is fit a new set of R&G bobbins, remove the existing Renegade open can and fit me new Micron (with Baffle) for the MOT.

Mot should be done next week, then its full valet and down to Pembry to put Berties 1000RR back in its place:yo:

Permagrin is back on Martin's face good style:-0)

Oscar live's. Proper.

Well I've got to say Mart phoned me today when he fired 'Ol Oscar' up and he sounds great, not had any attention for almost 2 years and both dad and son are doing well... Can't wait to get back in the 'saddle' as spped restrictor extraordinaire a good double tap to the ribs always works!

Ding, Dang Do!

Make sure you get the sand bank man to give you all his knowlegeable advice on setting up your tyre pressures ~ conversation should start to fade after no more than four seconds.......

Secondly, and most importantly, have you organised the sun dial to time Dear Bertious?

I believe he's now using modern technology to determine correct tyre pressures ..........

What a day

Oscar had his MOT today, and passed. All taxed and legal.

We had a bit of a "getting to know" each other session today. Proper.

A few little jobs still to do, but he runs and runs well. I love the sound of Microns finest (baffel removed:-0))

Very satisfying to see the hard work come to fruition.

Many thanks to my misuss TopBird for putting up with project Oscar, and to Fat Bert, for the piss taking and ribbing. He kept me honest. Also last thanks must go to me brother in law, without his nobel gesture of putting himself between the ground and Oscar, things could have been a lot worse. Cheers "our" Chris, broken pelvis and shoulder is a small price to pay:bow::-0):-0)

So it's on with enjoying the rest of summer (if we get one!!)

Probably going to get into trouble for this but hey here goes... A few years ago Mart did a charity 24 hour ride after a 12 hour shift at work....A very long stint on the motorway and shall we say he was drifting a little... a lesson to you all don't ride when tired; it could have been disasterous but thanks to an alert friend he did nothing more than drift

Yeah - Yeah - Yeah - Blah - Blah - Blah

Load of old bollox

It's 10 years and 6 stone since he last got his knee down

He can't manage it now as his arse cheeks will ground out before anything else connects with the tarmac

Funniest comment was "Taking the suspension setting back to stock"

BWAAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Stock Settings mate are for a 4'6" Anorexic Nip

So set to "stock" then turn in the rear shocker 418 full turns

Suppose all that extra ballast will help you wheelie though - just slide yaarse cheeks backwards 12" - then it'll pop up OK - same as when the workshop manager/MOT Inspector showed you how to do it properly on Oscar LOL

Ya Fat Twat s04pb0x6s04pb0x6s04pb0x6

Might have to get the Victory sooon...(they're built for fat bastards like me...:-0) )

.....Now there was no need for that ........

Oh yes there was ............

He IS a Fat Twat

Even Keran told me -18 stone of "wobbliness" - she smacks him on the arse and the "aftershocks" go on for days afterwards

He has had to get the C Spanner out and wind the wick in - to maximum setting

He has lost his "bottle"

Yeah right !!
