Ian, I think you may not be useing the Insert Image tab?
On the Reply to Thread page it's the tab under and in-between [Size] & [Color] the one with a mountain? in a yellow box, then type or paste your Url link in it.

Or if you are uploading them from photobucket, it will actually give you the link direct. I think its the bottom of the three boxes. Simply copy and paste it onto your thread, no need to worry about image tabs.

Go back to Potobucket and click on edit under your pic'y then re size it, (but keep an eye this on this page so as you dont go to small) it will (should) automatically change your posted pic'y on this site 'and any other site you have posted it on''
