costs....anyone with any idea how much to post an OE seat to anywhere in the UK,and anyone recommend a courier service to use :dunno:

it weighs about 2.5 kilo's

Believe it or not...

I use Royal Mail for posting parcels and mine usually weigh around 3kg. They cost ?7.50 (ish) but I always pay an extra couple of quid to have enhanced compensation (up to ?500). If they lose it or break it then they have to cough up. Just take it, wrapped up, to the post office and ask for standard parcel service, over the counter - job done!

AFAIK Stan, the Royal Mail booklet I've got is current prices

RM Standard Parcels:

1kg - ?3.32
1.5kg - ?4.27
2kg - ?4.58
4kg - ?6.91
6kg - ?7.54
8kg - ?8.59
10kg - ?9.23
30kg - ?10.76

(unless they've gone up quite recently)
