Good God man, where's your head at! The very thought of that just traumatised me!AB?
You weren't an AndyBanker, were you?

If you can get a hold of one but they're slightly illegal. I've seen loads for sale in the street markets in Bangkok and on Koh Samui but wouldn't like to get tugged by customs for carrying oneExtending batons work as well
Good job half the thick'o crims can't count then.As you say, knives are vicious weapons IF the wielder knows how to use it. If someone is moving a knife in a figure 8 pattern, that's usually a good idea that they have half an idea of why they're doing. I stand to be corrected here but when being taught knife-wielding combat, a figure 8 movement is a basic. If the scrote in question doesn't know how to use a knife, it's not difficult to beat him if armed with nothing more than a jacket or thick jumper.
In your case a wall to hide behind or an open space to run away to. Derek would nail you to the mast figure of eight or not. Dirks got beans.Spot on mate sounds like you were taught in the same way I was, and in the absence of a jumper anything will do as a distraction while you get inside and take control
There was a very nice Customs Officer at Kerkira Airport in Greece, I wouldn’t say no to a tug from her.but wouldn't like to get tugged by customs for carrying one
Problem is they give me trumpy bum. Dirks got beans.
That'll scare 'em off...or shock them into submission. If I was faced with that situation, which I'd rather not be, then in the absence of a jacket I'd take my shirt off and use that
I used to be able to throw a knife, axe, bayonet or sharpened 6" nail pretty good out to about 15 foot, hate to think how many blades I have lost broken or otherwise screwed up learning that particular skillThat'll scare 'em off...or shock them into submission.
If you're attacking someone with a knife and you don't know what you're doing with one then the best option is to throw it at them and then steam in while they're disoriented. Sounds counter intuitive, I know. You might even be lucky enough to hit them point first. The shock of actually being hit by a thrown knife is worth it's weight in psychological gold, but the odds are pretty remote to be honest.
Axe throwing......now there's something I'd like to have another go at.I used to be able to throw a knife, axe, bayonet or sharpened 6" nail pretty good out to about 15 foot, hate to think how many blades I have lost broken or otherwise screwed up learning that particular skill
Now I notice its become a thing and people actually pay to go and do it i might have to buy a couple of cheap throwers now and see if the old arm still remembers what to do.
Ps thanks for that you are costing me money
I would never go at someone with a knife. If a weapon was necessary, it would be one of my Indian clubs. That'll scare 'em off...or shock them into submission.

How many are you a member of & are you sure the other members would back you up.I would never go at someone with a knife. If a weapon was necessary, it would be one of my Indian clubs.
37. Absolutely. How many are you a member of & are you sure the other members would back you up.
Hair lacquer is better, a fraction of the price and a greater distance on the throw. The smell is absolutely f’ing choking too, especially when burning.I always told Bev to keep an aerosol perfume with her & a cigarette lighter (she was a smoker) a blast of flaming impulse to the face would deter any attacker & if it didn’t they would be recognisable
Can’t be cheaper than impulse, four cans for a fiverHair lacquer is better, a fraction of the price and a greater distance on the throw. The smell is absolutely f’ing choking too, especially when burning.
Ah, ok. I didn’t realise you meant that body spray stuff (although the ‘aerosol’ should’ve given it away ). My need for hair lacquer ceased a long time ago but a pikey can of 250ml can be had on Amazon for about £1.30.Can’t be cheaper than impulse, four cans for a fiver
Thatll be a hell of an effort, especially if it was The Bangalore Hussars Officers Club.I would never go at someone with a knife. If a weapon was necessary, it would be one of my Indian clubs.
I’d more likely go with the Bombay Cricket Club, as I know way more people there. If they’re busy, washing their hair, have notes from their mums, etc., then I’d head up to the yacht club. If they couldn’t make it then I’d jump on a plane up and over to Calcutta, I have plenty of mates there.Thatll be a hell of an effort, especially if it was The Bangalore Hussars Officers Club.
