"The Most Accomplished Sniper In Bulgaria’s Military" reminds me....I'm reading a book on the history of Sniping.
One particular rifle used during WW1 had a large rubber eyepiece and the story goes that the kick was so bad that the eyepiece was known to stick itself (via suction) to the shooters eyeball...!

I wonder how they got it off...?
