How could someone not notice "financial irregularities" to the tune of around £20 million, was Diane Abbott doing their books?

Either the staff are GREEDY beyond belief and ate all the cakes thereby causing the short fall, or more likely gross incompetence or fiddling by the board or its members..

I am afraid this is yet another case that should be looked in to with a view to prosecuting those responsible for the human misery such things cause

Time after time it has been shown that If someone has gone rogue in a position of overall financial control - which may be the case here - it is not overly difficult to cook the books in the short term, but will always be outed longer term. Could be another example of bonus driven culture.
