Oxford X50 or X60 soft panniers??

Hi ya

Done a fair bit of searching round here , looking at soft panniers Oxford x50 or x60 maybe, need to take pillion with these on, anyone used them ???? Or got any decent recommendations for around 120 bucks.

No idea re those, but I've got a pair of Oxford First time panniers you could have for a tenner. Just over the water from you and north about 20 minutes.
Used once about 5 years ago to go to Edinburgh. Been stored ever since as I got a wingrack. Even if you just wanted to stick them on the bike to see how a pillion coped that's be fine too.

We've used these X60 and found them really good - comfortable for the pillion too

Now surplus to requirements. All good save for one zip of the two top zips per side, which doesn't matter at all as you simply zip up the remaining one all the way round & everything is still waterproof. - yours for ?25 + postage (liners included)

I ended up buying a black set to go with any bike...... They look ok and rode with pillion no probs. bit of a pain to sort out at first for fitting but once worked it out they were ok, it rained like buggery and they stayed dry enough considering. No pics though yet!

I only picked up my new 'bird last night after having an 1150 GS adv and a Varadero 1000 before that. I had hard luggage on both of these but I want the Bird looking as standard as possible and to just be able to throw a set of panniers and a tank bag on for a trip. I have a Bandit 1200 also so the softies are the way to go so I can use them on both bikes. @tu*

If you get the chance to sit the panniers on and grab a pic, will you stick it up here so I can see what they look like. Thanks
