Ian it does look nice (for a pink un) I know you have spent a lot of time and money on it, and it shows, but for the final improvement all you need is some Matt black paint, only joking mate, to each his own, wouldn't do for us all to be the same would it.

And one from Down Under....

Pyramid screen, hugger and courtesy of Jaws, crash mushrooms from Clive, carbon look fender extender, clear plastic anti-scuff film over a fair proportion of the paintwork, radar detector, heated grips, Illumiglow dials (thanks Cruser  ), Scottoiler, 100W bulbs from 1200 Pete, Ventura headlight protector and luggage system and the best of all... a Rider brand NZ-made custom seat.

Still love it to bits after 4 1/2 years....

Here's my 2004 bike at Duxford a couple of months ago - following a dash through some very heavy rain and a BIG hailstorm $%3un .

Needless to say - the bike felt completely safe and neutral even in such bad conditions......... :-:

Mods so far: Baglux cover, NWS hugger, Datatool alarm, Scottoiler and a carbon tax disc holder. PS - blue bag borrowed off my 'Blade for the day - I now thankfully have the black bag to match the bike ( :p )

Thinking of some nice end cans eventually for a bit more bellow....

I think the Blackbird is an awesome bike and, strangely, it took me a fair while to get into enjoying ownership. It really is a class-act and I anticipate keeping it for a good number of years ! :yo:

PS - got some pictures of me standing next to the beautiful and dynamic
SR-71, but I'm too embarassed to post them....

Don't have to look too hard to see what Honda were trying to emulate with our bike's though...... :k
