Today, I decided it would be a good idea to make some more shelves for my tool shed (put to shame by the orderly fashion of Mr Robinson's) so I got a decent looking pallet, and began to dismantle it, for those that don't know most pallets are just held together by a couple of nails at either end of each lait, well I'd succeeded in getting most of the laits off, but for some reason the bottom end of one lait would not budge, I had already loosened the top end, so I laid it on the floor and jumped on the end that wouldn't budge.......

IT MOVED

The other end came up and cracked me right in the nads, :eek: :B I thought I was going to be sick, it certainly brought tears to my eyes.

best get down to "spec savers" Derek, if you think my "shelves" are orderly!!! :eek: as youve seen I've three sheds, and they are packed out with "junk" kids stuff in and gardening kit in two and decorating shite in "T" other, :bang: the bits wot I showed you were where I have my "proper" stuff, :dunno: you wait till the roof moves from the back garden to the garage, THEN you will see "orderly" shelves!! :bow: I'm up and cutting tomorrow,!! :}

the truss's!! arnt pallets, "not long enough" the bricks were "extras" ordered by mistake by someone, who then sold em to me, the tiles were free to collect from yellow ad trader, the windows were "given" and the small door came from one of "Jaws" neighbours for ?20, :eek: its metal with 5 bar locking, the main door came from a "reclaimers" yard ?110 delivered, one pack of blocks was given the rest was also bought as "over purchase"/cheap, most expensive items being the labour, and concrete, oh!! the rebars in the cement were free as well, :bow: total to date just shy of ?1.100, not bad when you consider it's 21foot long by13foot wide, I know it's taking a "bit" :rolleyes: of time to build but as I hadnt/havent much money I had to wait for stuff to "come up" like the roof tiles, which could have cost about a grand on their own I'm led to belive!! :dunno:
oh yeah!! I dont do boot sales any more, :p it's called Ebay now,!! :} :f
