just thought I would recommend these guys.........

ordered some replacement down pipes for the cbr 600......... if they had arrived any faster they would have come the day before ordering!!!

Excellent service and nice guys to chat on the phone with.

Nope

didn't put me off. I have seen much much worse!!!!

Isn't it the price that is more important and the service rather than the pretty colours????? :}

Not sure about their other prices but the price of the downpipes was very competitive, plus it included the postage, I mean they are not exactly light!

I'm a little prejudiced, but I think a web site can look professional without pretty colours and a godawful red textured background with bright green hyperlinks.

I am not recommending them for the bloody website, but their excellent customer service and delivery service.

Not often I rile up but this time I am!!!!!

I don't like Jaws website, (no offence John) but that wouldn't stop me ordering from him!!!

Please take my recommendation in the manner in which it was intended. :dunno:

Ok point taken. I just think their web site speaks volumes about them and obviously your experience proves otherwise.

I order stuff from one online shop that today sent me an email with the wrong "your" in the advert! I think JAWS site is messy but I like the colours :yo: I'd be itching to redesign it if I dared!

Oh Poo.....................

You back down to easy!!! :k

I agree I would like to take many sites and redesign, but I guess what looks good to some doesn't to others. I suppose many site owners prefer to put their money into the other parts rather than get someone to do their site. Not cheap. Although if that site is your first port of call, ie. they are not high street based, then it becomes very important.

I'm avoiding an argument because I gave up my job 12 months ago to do web design full time and if you find my online portfolio I'm busted. %$fan

Pugwash, you wanna redesign it, your welcome mate !!
I will happily give you access to it to do as you want !

There are two sites ( the dot com and co uk ) which while looking the same are different, and bloody dozens of pages ..

Must admit it IS fookin messy now as the pages have sort of degenerated down as more stuff has been added.

Only proviso is you cannot use Front Page or any of the other shite progs that make the coding top heavy..

you got me worried now jaws:eek: my only understanding of top heavy equates to the likes of my wife (truly happy with:lick: ) but i used front page for our site through ignorance, i take it were not talking breasts now:dunno:

No Marcella, we aint talking wobbly bits mate :p

Top heavy... The coding is about 10 times more complex than it needs to be, the grafix and layout will all be of a fixed size ( means folk viewing in a different res to what you do see things differently )

To give you an idea, the average page done in FP is 10 x bigger than one not done using the program..

tis very true

I know using Namo Webeditor that everything is bigger.

I guess the only solution is to learn HTML!
