My eldest daughter's partners father, has a collection of rare vintage cars, one of them was used in the film Fairy tale a true story, my daughter informs me that this car was a didion bouton, I have never heard of this particular make of car I am not even sure about the spelling anybody ever heard of this car???

Yes...

De Dion Bouton is the correct (I think) spelling. We had a table mat with a picture of one on (christ knows how or why!). Looked like a forties style car, big headlights and running boards etc, - French I think.

I knew someone on here would know something about them cheers lads, btw if any of you have seen the film Ians dad has a small part playing the chauffeur as he wouldn't let anyone drive it, I am sure you will all rest easier for knowing that
