Sky the man-hating parrot returned to her owners

Sky, the 20-year-old parrot, disappeared after a burglary at her owner Sarah White's home in Oxfordshire but was returned after her new family spotted an appeal shared by Ms White.

Great news Sky is home, parrots are well known for biting people who are the opposite sex to them, my Squash (female) tolerates me, having said that Hammy(Male) is the one most likely to bite me and draw blood.

A little tale, I always wanted a parrot, on the day we moved to our last house we called into a pet shop to get some dog food, there was the sweetest baby parrot, I said to Bev “I’m coming back tomorrow for him” I went & picked up a brand new lwb Mercedes sprinter from Enterprise for the move, just delivery miles on the clock, like a dick I pranged it on a low wall at the bottom of my drive (stupid considering the amount of times I’d driven a 7.5 ton Bedford TK horsebox out of my drive)
My eldest daughter simply said “Dad, that Parrot you’re getting tomorrow has just become a Budgie”
