Bit of a cheak making this sticky but it is only for a week and may save someone a bit of time...

I am off on my jaunt to Italy on Saturday/Sunday ( sposed to be Sat but will proly end up being Sunday ! )..

I will only be away for 7 days, so if you want anything sent out urgently and can contact me before 11 AM tomorrow Sat the 14th I will do my best to comply..
After that time I am afraid you will have to wait till my return on the 23rd(ish)

number one son will be here but he is always in the bloody garden / garage etc so chances are you will not get a reply from the fone :bang:

Speak to yaaaaa alllll in a weeks time !

have a great time jaws, italy is like a second home to me, we spend so much time down there with the locals of samarate racing proper MV's of the fifties and sixties. all great people and so friendly. you will enjoy it

Would not be riding back there if I did not enjoy it Mal ! :}
Only downside is the countrys we will be riding thru to get there.. Some real penny pinching govt in Europe..
I think I may forgo buying the 30 ? motorway disk in Switzerland.. If I get stopped I will tell them that until such time as they are charged to use the motorways in the UK I will not pay.. could do with being the centre of an international incident over a 30? bit of paper !! Wonder how long they would bang me up for ?

Enjoy your hols. Long time since I was in Italy, but if I can offer any advice it would be AVOID NAPLES!

I is back !! Had a good ride and it was good to see the friends I made during previous trips to the rally..
Only spoiler was the route taken.
It was decided by the planner to take in as many mountain passes as possible.. For mountain passes read goat trails !
Whilst the planner's GS boxer was very happy doing such roads, the Bird became a bit of a chore after the nth 170 degree turn and by the time we arrived at Rovereto I am afraid I was just about done in !!
I will NOT be riding with the chap again.
I would rather get lost and take ages to get there than follow him anywhere again, ever $%3un :bang:

I get one week off a year, and thanks to his antics this year has been a bit of a right off :cry:

Holidays,!!! whats them,??? :dunno: our holidays were taken at "T" bash, you lot dont know your born,!!! when I were a lad we used to get a "day" off if we were lucky, down "T" pit for twenty three hours a day, eight days a week, with just a lump of coal for breakfast, you bloody holiday moaners dont know your born,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :}
