Old laptops - TO CLEAR

Anyone know of anywhere that can use a couple of old laptops, probably as collectors items rather than working (unless your into DOS)

1. Compac LTE 286 40MB HD
2. Compac SLT 386 40MB HD (more luggabe than laptop)

both c/w carry cases psu etc.

Otherwise they're at the tip next weekend.

Try your local school

Take them along to any school .. They are always gratful for anything computer related.
If they do not actually use them they will certainly take them apart to show the kids whats what inside ..

Generally I just leave such things at the school office and let them sort out who gets them !

That's why I said HIS local school as opposed to my local school. Last thing I want is EDUCATED teenage villians. Little buggers are bad enough.:t

I could use one. My old feckers batteries are shagged and I cant find a replacement. I run a Dos based CAD programme and need summat to take out onto site to download onto. I'll email you John.
