OBAN McBASH Hotel Update

I just wanted to start a new thread so that i can keep you up to date with the Hotel Bookings received so far.

I have just been in touch with them and they have confirmed the following bookings along with Room Numbers:


- Lodge - Friday 2nd Sept (3 nights)
- Quinlan - Friday 2nd Sept (3 nights)
- Weaver - Friday 2nd Sept (3 nights)
- Fogarty - Friday 2nd Sept (3 nights)
- Gartside - Thursday 1st Sept (4 nights)
- Kindleysides - Friday 2nd Sept (3 nights)

Plus a few more !

Hopefully that corresponds with what you guys have booked, I will also put this on the Facebook Page because there are a few on there who aren't on BIRD, silly boys !

There is still room for anyone else wanting to come but the longer you leave it the less chance of getting the room you want !

We now have 10 rooms booked for the McBASH.

Had a couple more confirmations and there are a few newbies to McBASHes so will be good to meet y'all.

Just to reiterate the email I got from the Hotel, 'we have until the end of June and I will then put the rooms back on Booking.com'

I think I originally reserved 15 rooms (in hope!) but looks like we're gonna have a good crowd based on the confirmed bookings so far.

Just phoned the hotel. They have 2 singles and one smoking double left. Really couldn't stand the thought of a smoking room so we've booked into the Oban Bay which looks to be right next door. Hope that is in order as this is our first meet.
We're John & Devora Harley on a bike each.

Thats no problem, they must be getting full already !!

I'll be hanging around the Hotel on Friday afternoon to catch up with all the arrivals so looking forward to seeing you both then.

Also on there is a note of who has let us know what they want to eat on the Friday night.

Assume Scott and Roy will let the hotel know when they get there on Thursday ?
