Oak Flooring

Quick question.........

Does it make any difference if the Oak in "oak flooring" comes from Wales?

Thought it might be inferior quality but I guess it depends on who's laying it - yeah? :dunno:

Bearing in mind it is quiet expensive stuff to buy........ even Welsh Oak...

It is the sort of job a "Hello DIY'ers" can do or best left to professionals to lay properly? k1ap :t k1ap

You will have to be careful with that oak flooring as when you walk around in your high heels it'll leave little marks init c7u8

Get your self anice expensive wool (not necessarily Welsh) carpet......much warmer and nicer in winter. What room were you planning on doing?

Where the hell do they get enough oak in wales to make flooring. Nothing grows more than 2 inches before the sheep worry it.
