Posting here as the fund raising charity section seems unvisited.
The AAN.I. is the favoured charity of the NW200 this year, it takes £2 million a year to keep it going, as this is the first Air Ambulance we’ve ever had it’s an uphill struggle to fund it, but we really need it here. Unlike the rest of the UK we don’t really have many large corporates to take it on board and help fund, so it’s down to the public.

If you’d like to help in a small way and want a “banging tune” as well, Endless Division (a local original band from the North West 200 coast) have recorded a Cd which will be on sale during their weeks gigs...but here’s the good bit...if you purchase the track on iTunes at £0.79 , ALL the proceeds will go to the Air Ambulance N.I. Charity (after iTunes and the music aggregators get their bit that’s almost 60p going to the charity) it’s a great tune, all the guys are bike fans and are playing at The York (beside the hairpin...lol) on the Thursday 17th, on the 18th at the Witches Hat on Portstewart Prom before the fireworks display (it’s a free open air gig) and on the 19th back in The York. Most of you visitors to the NW200 will already know where that is...come up and say hi! They’ll be fundraising at the gigs as well.
