Damn been looking at the website, I think I should come up with the patent for a new shock set up.

I propose 2 knobs(dials):

1. How fat are you with the different options...skinny, chubby-> fat bastard.
2. How fat is your missus(ok this is where fat bastard actually = skinny so that you dont get lynched)

or is there a easy way to know when to use the recoil rebound settings? As I am either bouncing off the bike or hitting my balls up to my chin or doing the best sidewinder snake impression on a bike around corners...when I play with the settings, luckily the birds back shock...I think is caput so havent played with it yet(partly cause im too lazy to try find a tool to jiggle things around)

OOOOh what i was going to say is ?295 for the poor man type doesnt seem too bad!:-0)

Yup - the Nitron's been a seriously good buy for my 'Bird; it's now done around 14k (through 2 winters) and it's still looking pretty much like new. Ok it gets a regular dousing in GT85 to keep the crud from eating into it, but I've had Ohlins shocks look very shabby doing the same/after the same mileage etc.

Scott at Nitron's a really good guy to deal with and, as I needed it fairly pronto, my shock was built up and delivered in less than a week from order.

The adjustable length is seriously useful.

Just a pity about the spring colour, but been looking at the make up of it and like you said looks seriously nice and a lot easier to adjust than the original one...thinking of ways to tell the missus I am buying one.

LOL - the spring colour's not exactly bling, but I kinda like it now. Makes a change from yellow/white/red.

Now that is very, very nice mate. :bow: I particularly like the tasteful tie wraps; a classy addition that adds the finishing touch to an iconic superbike. Summat that Soichiro and his men must regret missing to this day. Oh if only JAWS had been at the Honda R&D Dept right from the start eh.

Sweet! @tu*

Any major problems in that time? Mine just runs and runs - in fact I swear it just gets better the more I ride it.

No problems. But she's highly maintained. This winters major service included all bearing in head and wheels, valves, plugs, fork oil, forks off, rad off, new cam chain and guides, chain and sprockets, Penske serviced.
