Like ya bike mate even though it's black and comes with a Sky dish on the back

 Only joking of course.

Just wanted to know if your 4-1 Akra comes into contact with the fairing and it sweeps from under the bike?
Also, did the PCII make much difference?
Did you fit the PCII ya self and if so, what programme did ya download (presume the Akra 4-1?)
I ask these questions as mine is going in to have a 4-1 and PCII fitted next week, along with 1/2 other mods :lick:

The exhaust touched the fairing when I first put it on, put some spacers on the bottom fixing. Making sure the the hung right helped but no real problems. Did fit the PCII but have since taken it off, need to check what programme is loaded. Fitted everything with the help of her indoors. Bike runs ok without , still ahve not got the Oxygen sensor eliminator so FI light is one but who cares.

Er......excuse my ignorance but........

what is the relationship between the oxygen sensor eliminator and the full exhaust system or is the relationship with the PCII?

The FI light stays on since fitting the PCII or the exhaust system?

I do find it strange that a company like Akrapovic produces an exhaust system (and not a cheap one!) that essentially doesn't fit and comes into contact with the fairing, presumably causing heat damage :dunno: I mean, they must do there fair share of R&D before putting these things on the market?

Oxygen sensor

is fitted to OE exhaust, ther is not where to fit this on the new one. You have to disconnect the lead which causes the FI light to show a fault. Fitting the eliminator does just that so the light goes out.
Touching the fairing seems to be an issue, I think it is just down to getting it on exactly right. Only minor melting on mine not noticable. Presume if it were professionallly fitted this would not happen but nothing ventured nothing gained.:dunno:

HAve you re-installed the PCII yet?

I fitted mine, buit have since removed it as the FI light remained on. Upon removing the PCII, the FI acts normally.
My bike is a Y2k and is not fitted with an oxygen sensor eliminator as the Y2k model has a closed loop system, so looks as if my PCII is iffy. Dynojet are looking into it now, but I'm well happy with the system and performance anyway. The PCII just smoothes it out and is more responsive.
