Well you all know I am quick to jump and always ready to put the bikers side of a case to whoever it may concern, but sorry to say that in this particular case I have nowt to complain about.

I know a few guys who ride like twats with no plate / or wrong plate.
They are bikers, they are fookin twats
One of them regularly travels in excess of 160mph on an A road that has shed loads of little side turnings and tractor traffic.
All of them run wrong plates
All are actively disliked by the local bikers who know what they get up to.
Two of them have two bikes.. a 'normal' bike and their stealth bike for riding like twots.
They are often heard compairing notes about what car they forced off the road and other crap..

So while I would normally be on the case like a shot, their opening gambit about bikers driving recklessly and possibly killing folk is not so far from the truth I am afraid :bang:

So you don't think that 'Reckless motorbike riders are able to avoid detection and bring death and destruction to others', is unneccesarily sensationalist, and statistically groundless?

It is without doubt unneccesarily sensationalist.. Unfortunately though not groundless.
Only last weekend a rider was killed in Norfolk whilst over taking on a blind bend on the wrong side of the road. An eye witness who had been overtaken momentsearlier estimated the riders speed 'in excess of a 100mph' ( which was proly balls but you bet he was not hanging around..
I was at the show today.. got home late ( because of an RTA ! ) only to find another guy got killed a mile from my house in yet another high speed head on'er. The guys who he rides with are all bloody quick ( and bloody good ) riders, but once again I bet the poor bastard had the hammer down big time.

The driver of the car he hit is ok but the passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

it would be nice if these

biker prats would just take themselves out if they are going to. Instead of killing innocent drivers, or in the case of tonights BBC program, his new girlfriend. Under the influence of drink/drugs and with possible dodgy brakes.

It makes me really glad that as a majority of the time pillion I sit on the back of a bike ridden by someone who I know would never ever drink, take drugs then ride a bike on his own, nevermind with me on it too. I know that he would never knowingly endanger my life or his or anyone elses unless it was totally out of his hands and unavoidable. That he would do everything within his knowledge and capabilities as a rider to avoid an accident and keep me, him and others safe.

I hope that guy rots. :bandit:
