Driving home from eldest daughter’s we got stuck behind five slow moving cars, in front of them was a slow moving motorbike (without L plates) he eventually pulled into a right hand filter lane, as the car two in front of us was passing him he began his turn, to say he wobbled would be a gross understatement.

Two things come to mind, if he was riding that badly he should never have passed a CBT and secondly if he had actually passed one the standard of even the most basic of training must have gone down a hell of a lot in recent years :nusenuse:

Or hes returning to bikes after a long time off them.

I had a guy, on an IAM session, turn up on a brand new ZZR14. He was mid 50s but after a few miles I realised that something was wrong. He hadn't ridden for a long time and bought the ZZR as it was the only bike that he could put both feet on the floor on!

He could have had a slow puncture on the front.
A fly in one eye.
Bugs in his teeth.
Snood too tight.
Death grip on the bars.
Kangaroo juice in the tank.
The list is endless.
