NEW BIRD OWNER FROM SPAIN

Hi everyone!!!

I,m from Spain and this is my second BLACKBIRD. I had a blue one 2004 and after 6 bikes i come back with a SILVER one 2004 too.

I,m in the cbrxx.com forum too, because our old forum in Spain dissapear.

Got a couple of other members there one near Madrid and one on the south east coast near Malaga

Planning to ride the Picos de Europa area.
This is one of the best areas to ride. Here in Cantabria (the name of this region) has one of the most astonising roads of all the country.
You would love it.

I digress. Being in Spain, do you know why SHAD do not appear to make a 3point (3P) pannier carrier for the Bird?

I would guess that Shad was formed a long time after the 'Bird ended production and they only cater for current bikes.

Not that many bikes were made and sold, in reality the 'Bird is a niche model.

Givi and Kappa make stuff for the 'Bird. Betterer quality too.

If you are handy, it may be possible to adapt a Givi (for example) made for a BIRD with a Shad made for another bike.

I did it with two different Givi's so I could mount the V35's, for which Givi didn't do their own.
