I posted this elsewhere, I suppose I could forecast the response on this forum, but I'll mention it anyway....
I've had the Blackbird for six years now, 40,000 miles. Never had a bike so long in the last 35 years of biking.
Like everyone else, I've browsed shops and forums, test driven a few bikes and there are a few which would do for a replacement when the time comes.
But then I thought, why change? I'll not get much PeX for the bike, given the mileage, I'd have to fork out several grand of cash, and given retirement in the near future, sinking a lump of my savings into a bike is maybe not such a good idea. That money would keep the 'bird in servicing and replacement parts for a good long time. Maybe see me out.
Perhaps I'll keep it..............or maybe not
