The Jaws relay works wth ANY bulbs automatically ! No fiddling about at all :)

Even with odd bulbs in ? cant see that to be honest

As I read DLN's post he wants the option of fitting normal bulbs again if needs be & an adjustable relay would be easier than changing the relay

Exactly what I did on my RF when I had normal indicator bulbs front & led's rear, 2 seconds with a screwdriver & the flash rate was correct

Just goes to show then mate..
The indicator box can be made current sensitive OR use a preset load that is built in so is not reliant on how many amps are drawn
The latter type can be used with ANY combo of bulbs... even just using ONE bulb if you so desire

You wasted two seconds by using a really old fashioned variable relay :)

I had normal bulbs on the front of the Gixxer and put led's on the back. Changed the relay for a cheap Chinese one and it worked perfectly.
I later put led's on the front too and the relay worked perfectly.

I put LEDs on the Dangerous trike - bloody BMW, I had to do surgery on the 'special' BMW relay unit.
Still all is well that ends well........... I think.

A little paint preparation in between the rain !!

And the car now has a smiley face !! :)

Plenty of filler and sanding to do ...... but it’s getting there slowly !!

I will start taking the Z3 apart shortly, and trial fitting the panels ..... then making sure gaps are good, then proper assembly .....

Just put the lights in to see what they look like .... not aligned perfectly but it gives the illusion of being in place !!!

Rear (landrover?) lights & front indicators look right to me but i'm not keen on the headlights for the style of car you are building, just my personal preference you understand !

Indeed you are correct with the lights (landy).... plan was (maybe still will be soon) LED sidelights etc etc but ££££ put me off a bit !!
And yes I agree somewhat .....
I’m going for a cobra lookalike with a modern twist (IF I was going full retro I would have 7” sealed beams)

A little update ...
progress has been slow due to the weather but still accumulating bits
Put my wheels in for a refurb today ....
thinking of a silver spray job for the car (as it’s silver already) so wheels need to stand out a bit
I eventually chose Chrome outers and gunmetal centres .... let’s see what they look like when they are done !!

Is that dark or light gun metal ( please please say dark !! Light looks like primer to me ! )

10m of trailer wire today.... planning the cable route for the lights .....
2x4m for headlights and indicators (they all run back to the bonnet hinges then hidden and clipped in the bonnet clam shell)
And 1m each for the rear lights (cables hidden)

slightly annoying thing is the roof leaked (I knew it needed replacing but I was hoping it would be ok for the winter).... looks like it’s an early Xmas present to myself !!
So a temp fix is TWO rain covers (one I already had and a new one !)
