Heading for bed hoping my kegs and feet will stop pinging me and my daughter decided to "nip" up Snowdon today lousy weather early, but as Peter Kay would say "Its Spitting" when we got to Nantgwynantcar park at the start of Watkins path. We both managed to get to the top but the scree scramble was one we didn't want to do in reverse so decided to go along the ridge Bwlch Main ('the Narrow Pass') and is was, not helped with lots of low cloud and slippy underfoot, as a result we headed down via the Rangers path just glad to be getting off the mountain with the nice thoughts we'd be down at the car park in time for the bus that due before quater to five oh how we laughed as we were heading towards the car park to see the bus driving past along the road. At least he waved cheerily to us on his was back.
Nothing for it no service on the moibile no phone boxes in sight trudged the other 7 miles back to the car with the last hour in the dark good job we had a couple of torches to wave at some of the loons driving down the roads at us

Promised my daughter she doesn't have to climb it again with me next time she can get the train up if she wants, couldn't quite work out her reply but dont think she be taking me up on it
