Well,

I have finally admitted defeat in the fight to keep riding the bird, It was just too painful for my leg, even for very short distances fl4g71.

Soo last Thursday I became the owner of this:

A 2012 Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200. It is soooo comfortable, and no more aches and pains :yo:

Glad you like it. Each to their own, but it's not tremendously elegant.

Prefer the background in ya siggy pic. It just seems much more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.


I suspect this may be due to the composition of the foreground.:-0)





Any particular reason for going for the Tiger rather than a BMW GSA? Or are they a bit of a clitoris bike?

Lol! I was sat on the same bench, and the Tiger is within a couple of feet of where the bird was standing, so just different time of day/time of year...

Tried the GS as well, - didn't like it one bit (was told I could have it on test all afternoon, only needed 25 minutes to decide...) Also as you say every coont's got one (especially here in Germany lol!).

A mate's got the new w/c GSA he loves it, upgraded from the old one.
I think next year I'm gonna go round all the local main dealers and blag test rides.

Nope. It was taken just outside Daun, by the volcanic lakes (Dauner Maare)
