Thanks for the comments. I prefer the carbon one myself and it does look better in the flesh.

Lol @ hammer and brick. When I noticed that myself I did laugh. I need a Snap On hammer to match my other tools!!

Just fitted a Healtech GIpro x-type Gear indicator. I know a lot of people think these are not a good idea, but i like it and it has stopped me hunting for 7th gear. :)

hi , just looking at the quill website could not find any full systems only the silencers, did you have to source the down pipea seperately and the add the silencer . cheers

Now looking at the next little mod. A matching Brembo gold caliper fitted to the rear with custom made bracket. Watch this space!
I have to admit that this is mainly cosmetic as i don't use the rear brake much but it will hopefully look better with the fronts being gold too.

Before and after dyno graphs. (before blue after red! )

Unlike Noobie, I'm absolutely amazed by the differences in those curves! I've always been sceptical of the benefits of dynojet kits after I had an old ZZR600 that ran like a pig with one. Did the dyno man have to fiddle, moving needles up and down etc. to get that. I mean forget peak power, theres a 15-20bhp increase from about 5-7.5K revs. What did that actually cost? Do you think the exhaust system reduced power in that range before you had it sorted?
Edit: Judging by this graph I found somewhere else, I'd say it did

Yes i think the exhaust did decrease the power. I cant remeber the cost, i think around £200 altogether. It was noticable after being fitted and it is easy to see why. In hindsight i would have preferred an Akrapovic system but they were out of my range at the time, but all in all it would have worked out cheaper.

Not sure on the next installment. I need to get the rear brake sorted first which should be in the next few months as the bracket is coming from NZ. I'll keep the thread updated.
