My Blackbird story..

Here is my current spec. I am sure you will all be pleased to know that this thread will soon be finished!!

Honda Blackbird Specification sheet.


Engine

Quill Evo 2 Titanium 4-1 full system.
Dynojet stage 1 kit.
Factory Ignition Advancer + 4 degrees.
Uprated Camchain Tensioner.

Chassis

Penske 2 way adjustable shock (Ride height increased by 7mm)
Forks resprung with Ohlins 1kg springs and revavled to suit by Reactive Suspension. (Fork legs raised 2mm through yokes)
Brakes delinked and converted to Brembo Goldline 4 pot calipers. Fitted with EBC HH pads.
Brembo RCS19 Master Cylinder.
Brembo RCS16 Clutch Master Cylinder.
Twin 15cc Brembo reservoirs on homemade aluminium brackets.
Venhill brake & clutch lines.
Bike Tech aluminium footrests.
Centre stand removed – Side stand extended to suit increased ride height.
AFAM X-Ring gold chain & sprokets.

Electrics

Uprated Regulator / Rectifier.
LED charging indicator.

Miscellaneous

Pro Bolt stainless fairing bolt kit.
Stomp Grips
Renthal Road / Race grips (Soft compound)
R&G bar end crash protection.
Traxxion Dynamics shock sock.

Rick brilliant right up.Have not read anything on here of such quality for ages.Also inspiring but best I leave mine as it is if I attempted doing it bike would probably be in garage all Summer.

In the region of ?2k I expect. Although I have recouped a bit selling stuff as I go.

Last set of tyres were from Chris Gunsters (grimsby) as I was having my Dynojet kit fitted there.

The brakes work fine so why not? My tester will pass it for sure but I can't see why it would be a problem in any case.

Finally had chance to spend some time getting it all back together today.

Oil and filter change.

New chain and sprockets. Front one was well knackered and was also a 16T.

Bet you had forgotten what it looks like as a whole !

That right hand bar end weight looks a bit precarious! :-0)
