Ooh and a hugger and clear indicators and a full akrapovic

noobie

Clueless in most things
I had a full ack before and it does have a rather lovely growl but not in a cheap after market can kinda way.

However I did like the aesthetic look of the twin pipes so I would probably just replace the cans to ack next time rather than the whole 4-2-1 system.

I don't mind the single can tbh and as a set of akras are about the same cost as a full system id rather have the full system and have it Dynoed set up to gain a little bhp

so can anyone tell me why there seems to be so much "anti Delkevik" feeling? Would like to fit a 4-2-1 and would love to fit a Brit Austin end can, but can this be done? Will their CBR 1000 can work? Whats the science?

Jaws is the man with the knowledge but I believe Delkevic down pipes cause have been known to cause some running issues on the Bird.

Ok.. The cans they produce are great.. In fact most of their products are very good and well priced
Sadly, the downpipes they make for the XX are just hopeless.. They cause very nasty flat spots that are difficult and expensive to get rid rid of..

It is a mystery why they have never addressed the problem .. They definitely know about it ( and that is not conjecture ).. Or at least an awful lot of the folk who work for the company do.. No idea how far up the tree the knowledge goes though
