A mate had a hurricane when I was just starting to ride on the road, he used to use it regularly & hard but kept it well maintained mechanically, the paint on his was a none standard yellow & brown

Years later I spotted it parked up at a show alongside 7 or 8 others & said to another mate feck me its the flying banana I would take that home today, which upset the rivet counters who had immaculate restored ones to the point they almost choked on their cucumber sarnies :D They just couldn't understand the fact that it was far better for being used & showing its history so far better than their never used tarts handbags ..... sure enough the new owner fired it up & fecked off up the country house road at a right rate of knots spitting gravel in all directions (y)

Made my day, I really hope its still been kept out of the hands of restorers & is still being used as intended

Without a doubt, one of the finest looking bikes ever produced by the big K.

Despite all my blackbirds (which I have enjoyed over the years) one of my all time favourites still remains my old CB900F2B

Loved every second on that and was the first bike with a fairing and mirrors that worked and could cross countries with ease

Have you ever sat on one? The girders stick into your leg quite painfully.
I appreciate the machining of the chassis from a billet of ally, but it's not comfortable.
