Around 20 years ago I was involved in filming a piece for a BBC consumer advice program. It was about the use of tinted visors.

Basically it featured one rider fully clothed with leathers, boots, gloves & a helmet with tinted visor, and the test of us in our underwear but with a helmet with clear visor.

The idea was to highlight all of us in our skivies were legally riding while the poor guy in full leathers was not due to the tinted visor.

All filmed on closed roads & in May so it wasn't that warm.
