Luuuverly write up again Eric me ole mate... very nice surprise for you meeting up with your friends and we will hopefully get to say hello to them personally at Assen as well:bow:
Made my skin creep with the bit about the thieving scum in the camp site ..
I would like to think that they weren't bikers , just some local scrotes...
glad you had a great time, even tho the weather wasnt very kind.. spose its a good job it rained really as Casey would have put even more points between him and the ex chosen one man8um
got to get at least a little one in mate hehehe

I couldn't acknowledge your posts without saying another huge "Thank You" to Patrick and Manuella whose contribution to the site was enormous. :bow: Their presence and good humour turned what was just a long weekend break into one of the most enjoyable holidays we've ever had. We'll see them again soon, but it won't be soon enough!
We'll call in for a cuppa next time, Lumpy - and OB - Assen looms, M8 (although I'll be surprised and delighted if Rossi wins before then) :cry:

...I'll be calling up the demons of Hell, Mate - looks like Vale's gonna need more than just a few reinforcements for Mugello! He got the win last year and he'll do well to repeat the performance this time around... :yo:

Good read DA.
A mate and I went to Le Mans for the MotoGP last year and found a little haven at a place called Beaumont Pied de Boeuf, south of Le Mans near Chateau du Loir. Promised to go back this year with the wives which we did last weekend. Had a great time chilling, eating and drinking but the weather was no better for us. Very wet, windy and cold, mainly on the Sunday and Monday. Also, went from Portsmouth on Saturday so another near miss for you Lumpy.
