Good question. My phone seems to turn photos 45 degrees. Never used to do that.

That's what I like about this forum, I know and in fact everyone knows I did a cracking job but there is always a queue of know alls ready to shoot it down in flames.

I'd have done it exactly the same way. No point in wasting time and money over engineering a piece of wood which looks to be more decorative than structural. Then I'd have used the time and money saved to go out on my bike.
