Not sure if there are too many fans of the legends that are Metallica on here......

They've just released a new album, a second collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and it is truly astonishing how two poles-apart different music genres can work so well. I guess it helps (me, anyway) being a huge fan of both Metallica and classical music.

I listen to an American radio station when I'm working and All Within My Hands is getting loads of air play. If you get a chance, check it out. Genius!

Well worth a watch, but gonna have to play the video again with the sound going through the stereo instead of the PC speaker later (like when I'm not working) (y)

Halo on Fire is one of my favourites but it's very hard to choose. I asked the question on here a few years ago - what's your favourite Metallica song. One of the members summed it perfectly when he said 'that's like asking to choose which one of your kids is your favourite'.

I liked the Black album but don't consider myself a fan of the group but I really like that.

Metallica ...Creeping Death utter Classic, I was playing it so loud and driving too (Car)fast that West Sussex police sent me a polite letter to having a meeting without Coffee ..they called it a Speed awareness course!
During the course intro I was asked why did you speed,I told the Roads Policing Officer that I was distracted(Tut) by Metallica's Ode to oppressed Slaves of Egypt. And guess what, out of a room of 30 offenders three nodded their heads muttering fair enough I understand his point. But...watched them live at Earls Court .St Anger Tour and wish I’d saved my money...very poor! Still the best at their game . Night ,night the Archers are on soon!

For once Derek I am with you.

Sounds like someone dropping a load of pans in a commercial kitchen to me.
@Pow-Lo i can't see how you can disagree with my comment about dropping pans - that is what it sounds like to me, how would you know what it sounds like to me?

I know what a collection of pans dropping on a kitchen floor sounds like. I very much doubt that it would sound remarkably different falling on my ears to yours. Metallica are an incredible band, absolute rock legends and I see no correlation between their music and dropping a load of pans on a kitchen floor.

That’s how I can disagree :p
