MCE Insurance advert

:wank: The advert for MCE insurance on the back of MCN is getting more absurd by the week WTF is it all about?...... This week ED is simon cowells chauffeur?
I made it rule a long time ago not to buy anything from companys who try to market there products using stupid adverts!! They make me uke:
One picture is all you need it tells a thousand words!
i.e A typical Harley owner it tells you everything about them!!!!

They used to be a half decent company, but wouldn't touch them with a barge pole now. Everything has a price now, green card extra, even telling them you've sold one of the bikes on a policy is extra, any alteration is extra.

If you've got an IAM advanced ticket best try Adelaide, green card as std, and they cover business use as std as well, for those of us that might use a bike for business use now or then.

the owners are fine I bet, but the bikes really are shit.
Harley as a company once drew a line in the sand and said "there you go, that's it, done and dusted", the problem is, the tides been in and out a million times since ...... their bikes have rusted whilst we are all kicking back at the beach-fronted 5 star Hotel bar, drinking our 17th round of quality beverages, whilst having our dicks sucked ......

yes, I have ridden a Harley ..... it handled like the Flying Scotsman ....... OK, that's harsh, maybe the Mallard then ......

Good point but as a brand they have a done a good job at selling a lot of units and promoting an icon. The Buell Lightning is a seriously fast machine and the Heritage Softail is great fun to ride. Yep handling and speed doesnt come near the BIRD but it is what it is and satisfies a huge market need.

Now Ive moved on and found as near to perfection in my BIRD as Im likely to find on two wheels. However all my comments are based on ownership experience as opposed to anything else.

By the way I had no idea that Titanium was so much faster than red;-0))

Ridden one classic softtail I think... it was twas enough...And the owner who gave me a go developed strange behavior patterns after owning it a few months...Grew a goaty beard, got tattoos everywhere,wears leather chaps with the arse hanging out....Much to his wifes annoyance! :-0)

Yup, cause red birdie owners don't give them up that easily... most wannabe purchasers then have to buy primered birds hoping to get the red paint applied later.

I found them the cheapest by miles for my multi bike quote, ?300 for my blackbird and v-strom with only 1 years no claims. I found express insurance to be crap, they said the company(KGM) I was with would not insure me on my blackbird and would only give me ?40 back after 2 month having paid ?200 then when I went to mse the company with the best price turned out to be KGM. It's all bullshit and should be regulated properly. I worked in insurance and a good company for one person can be terrible for another. I think if they make tv ads which must cost a fortune(Direct Line), then claim to be cheap is just taking the piss though lol.

d34l Advertising is not cheap especially through television...like you say Tribal someones gotta pay....but it wont be me!
